📍 our story

Two photographers,
three dogs, one
whole lot of joy.

PixelPaw was started in 2016 by two former wedding photographers who realized they were taking more pictures of the pets at weddings than the people. Today the studio has photographed over 1,800 pets and we still send a treat box home with every client.

We work with rescues monthly, donating shoots that help adoption rates — last year we photographed 240 shelter animals and helped over 90% of them find homes faster.

2016

Founded by Jamie & Sofia, two wedding photographers, in a converted garage with one backdrop and a lot of treats.

2019

Moved into our flagship studio with three rooms, full pet-safe lighting, and our first dedicated grooming area.

2022

Launched our shelter program. Photographed 180 adoptable pets in our first year. Adoption rates jumped.

2025

1,800+ pets photographed, two studios, and a team of four photographers who all have well-loved pets at home.
